lazy Saturday

so, we have the All Saints’ Day and most of the people are at the cementaries… we stayed at home, and the only person who did something sensible was Lanre. apart from that - a very lazy family.

it was really nice that Larry came to visit us - we had great time together, thanks Larry!

standing against illnesses

So, Kemi is ill again, and it seems we need to fight it once and for all. I really don’t like this her being ill :( there are much nicer things in the world than catching a cold!!! so I pray health upon her under God’s care - out and aloud :D

day by day :)

ok, now we are in the midst of it all! Lanre is working so hard that he is more than happy when the weekend comes (well, Saturday afternoon, when he finishes his working week), and I am gladly reaching weekends as well :) still, we manage to spend some time with Kids in the week, and we have nice weekends.

We are both into www.naija.pl/forum, where we meet many nice people who are in Polish-Nigerian relationships. what a fun!

yes, step by step we’re moving forward :) THANK GOD!!!

“dethroned”

Life… the years pass by, and my little darling Daughter has a new authority in her life - Pani Alinka, who is her kindergarten teacher. Whatever Pani Alinka says, is the most important, wonderful etc. which… is really great! I have never seen Kemi going to nursery with the joy and expectations she goes to kindergarten with now! She is really happy to do things there, and she describes everything with details. And it seems Pani Alinka likes Kemi too. Thank God :D

mushroom picking

Yeah, yesterday, using a beautiful day and Kemi’s idea, we went to the wood to pick some mushrooms. As the day was really advanced, we didn’t expect to pick too many, but we were nicely surprised. We were in the wood for a short time, but we brought home a whole basket! And Kemi was a princess of the mushrooming (she didn’t want to be called a queen, hihihi). It was really nice trip, and Grandad directed us to a very nice place. Thank You!!!

One Month 11 people

Yesterday I had my last class with the students of a summer crash course that I took. It was a really interesting class but the most surprising part of it all was yesterday when Mysia actually baked a cake for our last day together and I got a very nice and warm scarf and a Lubuski Gin :). Why? Because towards the last days of the class I always mis-judged the weather and usually ended up being cold while teaching. So they gave me these things to warm me up and as a souvenir.

We went out for a drink at the end of the day but no one had a camera on hand but I sufficed with my mobile phone’s camera and here are the poor quality pic.s I took of that occasion.

Also my lovely wife bought me a Doda CD for the Boys Day celebration :) Thank you dearest for your care, even though she not in your list of good singers you still went ahead and bought it for me.

I will also like to use this opportunity to wish my family in the US and Nigeria who are still muslims Happy Eid-el Fitr. Barka De Salla from all of us in Poland.

weekend in London…

yeah, we were supposed to be in London now..actually, the party we were supposed to attend started 20 minutes ago :( but… due to an awful traffic jam and unexpected 2 hours+ delay we didn’t make it to the airport on time. Yeah, just imagine how we felt going back home from the airport… but now we are ok (I hope). a bit disappointed, as we haven’t seen our Friends forever… but maybe there is some sense in it …

Emilka’s birthday party

We had a great fun today at Piechel’s house-thank you very much for inviting us. The Kids were playing nicely and we had a chance to chat :) We really enjoyed every minute of it, and Kemi was… so exhausted that she fell asleep on the way home, not to wake up when put into bed! Sweet dreams!!! (Unfortunately it was a bit more difficult to put Ife to bed).

Now we rae getting ready to tomorrow’s Ife’s family birthday party :D

HAPPY B’DAY IFE & EMILKA!!!

Today we celebrate Ife and Emilka’s b’day. His-second, hers-fourth! All the best!! May God’s blessings never end in your lives!!!

holidays

oh, yes… we were away for about ten days :) we spent 8 days at the seaside (sea the photos in the gallery) then we had one day in Zielona Gora and a day in Poznan.

The holidays in Miedzyzdroje (north-west of Poland, very close to German border, on island Wolin) were really nice. We were there with my Parents, and also with my Sis for some time. Kids were more than happy, as they could play with all the people they love most :D and we also couldn’t complain, as early in the morning we were allowed to sleep a bit longer than usual as Grandparents were taking care of the Small Ones. The weather was mixed, but we all managed to get some suntan (Lanre was unbeatable, though). We also had a nice trip to a port town called Swinoujscie, where kids were on the ferry for the first time.
At the end of our stay, Gillian, our dear Friend from the UK, joined us in Miedzyzdroje (we went to pick her at the airport in Poznan). She enriched our stay there :)

After one day in Zielona Gora (lots of washing), we went to Poznan - Gillian needed a lift to the airport, and we decided to visit Marysia and Piotrek who moved to their own place! Congrats, guys!!!

Marysia and Piotrek's new room :)

Marysia and Piotrek's new room :)

In Poznan we admired the new flat and then went to enjoy Poznan :) We went to the New Zoo, and later for a short walk close to Malta Lake. It was really nice - thank you, Marysia and Piotrek!!!

This year’s holidays were really special, we feel incredibly blessed. Thank You, God!!!
