This site is not meant to be for any other reason but for our pleasure. So relax and enjoy it if I may say that. If you feel up to it you can leave us a message or better still, go to our Blog and blog away. Lanre Our history One sunny day he entered the room... tall... handsome... (the shape.... the smile....) He didn't say much, but Przetockie Sisters were impressed – it's just happened they both were there, at the Parkers' house. It was a nice dinner, with lots of laughing and a chilli which made Marysia cry. Monika was crying thinking HE was married. He .... well ... after some time with Przetockie Sisters he told Monika, “You would be a perfect wife for a black man.” Poor him, he didn't know how prophetic his words were.... about his life!!! A few accidental meetings... friends... and then... she discovered HE WASN'T MARRIED. What a nice day:) It was the beginning of going out together. Not everyone was happy about their relationship. Thank God and with God's help a few obstacles were overcome. In June he asked her to marry him. He heard YES! Just about 8 weeks later she was on the way to Poland, while he stayed in the UK. It was a tough year of separation, during which they learnt a lot about each other. Monika still remembers when after 3 months in Poland she flew to London to spend a weekend with the Love and her life and she was wondering... if she can recognise him in the airport... she did!!! It wasn't easy but they survived a year apart, Monika spent Christmas in the UK with Lanre and his Sister Moji's Family, Lanre was invited to visit Monika's Parents in March, they had to fight a few people who wanted to date them.... what a year! Finally... July 18th, 2003, THE DAY! “Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome MONIKA AND LANRE LASEGE!!! Thank You, God, that You brought us together, that You united us, and make us happy every day!!! |
